Richard White is the owner and founder of the Richard White Insurance Agency, Inc. In 1993, Richard decided to leave a successful career in management and leadership to become an independent business owner, thus the Richard White Insurance Agency, Inc.!
Richard was born in Kansas City, Missouri and grew up in Historic Independence, Missouri not far from the home of Harry and Bess Truman. He has been a licensed insurance professional since 1993 and holds numerous awards and certificates. Richard resides in south Jefferson County and has three sons of which he is very proud.
Two of Richard’s sons are Eagle Scouts and all were involved in Boy Scouting.
Richard received the “Silver Beaver Award” for his volunteer achievements and Richard continues to volunteer for the scouts in the Denver Area Council of the BSA, National Youth Leadership Training and Wood Badge Training.
Community service is very important to Richard. He is currently the president of the Ken Caryl Ranch Townhouse Association and the Dakota Ridge Commons Owner’s Association. Richard has been a Vestry Member at St. Gregory’s Episcopal Church and a member of the Finance Committee of the Ken Caryl Ranch Master Association.
Volunteerism has been a large part of Richard’s life as well. He was an instructor of CPR and First Aid for the Red Cross. He also achieved the position of Reserve Deputy Sheriff for the Jefferson County Sheriff’s office, for ten years, beginning in 2001. Richard’s duties included, being a certified firearms instructor, training Sheriff’s Deputies. He received a formal “Letter of Commendation” from Sheriff Mink in 2006 for actions in the performance of his duties.
Richard enjoys Skiing, Camping, Hiking, Snowshoeing and Traveling.
